Spring is finally approaching, and it’s the perfect time for our annual Daily Benefit Spring Detox. Most of us eat more and put on a few extra pounds during the winter months — it’s natural and helps us stay warm! Our ten-day detox is designed to ease the transition into a diet and lifestyle more appropriate for warmer weather: lighter, fresh food to energize and invigorate us while helping the body to clear out toxins and release excess weight.
Unlike many “cleanses,” our plan is a true metabolic detoxification plan, designed to rev up your body’s own detoxification pathways so that you can mobilize stored toxins from their hiding places and eliminate them. There are three phases to our body’s detox process: Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III pathways. All three phases happen simultaneously 24-7, and how well they work depends largely on nutrition. Our plan takes care to provide all the key nutrients necessary to allow your body to do a deeper detox and eliminate stored toxins, while also giving your body a break from potentially unhealthy, inflammatory foods.
