Daily Benefit® Jumpstart to a healthier you!
The Daily Benefit® Detox Program gives your body a break from the potentially unhealthy foods you may consume on a regular basis. During this time your body can repair damaged cells, clean its vital systems, and clear the channels of elimination to let you feel your best.
The modern world bombards us with thousands of chemicals every day. We are exposed to toxins in our food, water, and air--our whole living environment has become hazardous to our health. Harmful chemicals stored in the human body stress the organs responsible for filtering, eliminating and transporting toxins out of the body. When these organs become overwhelmed they either slow down or stop working properly. When our body’s systems aren’t functioning at an optimal level, it can cause improper digestion and poor elimination, which makes us feel tired and hold on to excess weight. You may already be experiencing signs and symptoms linked to excess exposure, which can include:
How do I start?
Be sure you are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to commit to this program. This is not a quick or temporary fix. It is meant to be the transition to a healthy lifestyle modification, which takes time to learn and maintain. You can make this shift successfully by taking steps to prepare yourself and create an environment conducive to this healthy lifestyle.
If this is your first detox diet, keep in mind that events such as holidays and other social gatherings may make the process more challenging. We suggest you choose the timing of your diet carefully for optimal success.
Document your starting weight and your Symptom Survey score so you can benchmark your progress. Regulate your schedule so that you can get eight hours of sleep each night as your body adjusts to the dietary changes.
You may temporarily experience cravings and your mood may fluctuate. Make sure you have a network of support at home and at work by talking to your family, friends and coworkers about the diet ahead of time.
While we encourage you to take the initiative to learn to cook, or shop organic, we know that it’s not always possible. The important thing is making the right choices for you – for example, selectively buying certain organic vegetables to minimize your exposure to pesticides. You can refer to our Grocery Guide, or Dr. Morrison’s book, Cleanse Your Body, Clear Your Mind, for more guidance.
How does it work?
Step 1. Take Symptom Survey
We offer two program options: a 10-day and a 30-day program. Your score on the Symptom Survey will determine which program is right for you. While on either program, you will drink two shakes and eat one balanced meal daily. You can also enjoy two healthy snacks throughout the day.
Step 2. Drink Detox Shake Twice Daily
When you remove high-calorie processed foods, especially those that may be causing inflammation, you allow your body a chance to rest and heal itself. And when you eliminate toxins, chemicals, and foods that you might be sensitive to from your diet, your cells will become healthy and able to function properly again. Our unique vegetarian Detox Shake, a combination of pea, amaranth, quinoa and artichoke protein, is specially formulated to provide all of the essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals that your body needs without any soy, dairy, wheat, gluten, animal protein, artificial colors/flavors and preservatives.
Step 3. Eat One Balanced Meal + 2 Snacks Daily
While doing Detox, you will eat up to five times a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus two snacks. Breakfast, lunch or dinner consist of two of the Daily Benefit Shake; the rest of your meals are up to you! We’ve provided recipes as well as some options for snacks and meals. You can mix and match these ideas with your own to suit your tastes.

Step 4. Take Symptom Survey again to compare your results
The following information is based upon a published study in Integrative Medicine: A Clinicians Journal.
66% Improvement in Symptoms
After following the 30-day Daily Benefit® program, subjects lost an average of 9 pounds, which compared favorably with conventional weight loss plans.
Once you have successfully completed the program, you may slowly reintroduce foods into your diet. Add items one at a time, every three days, so you can gauge which foods cause symptoms to return. If you have no reaction to the food just introduced, then you may introduce another food.
Be sure to eliminate any foods that cause symptoms to return. For example, if you start drinking milk again and notice you have digestive gas, bloating or excess mucus, those symptoms indicate a sensitivity to milk. You should therefore continue to avoid milk.
Remember, this is an opportunity to transition to a healthy lifestyle modification so some foods will not return as part of your regular diet. Think of it as a way to maintain your good health for the rest of your life!
