How long does it take to get used to the program?
Most patients start to feel well after the first 7 days. Some people feel good earlier, others may take a bit longer. Keep in mind that the more toxins you have in your body, the more time it will take for your body to convert to a healthier state.
Are there any physical changes during the first week?
Bowel movements may change in color or consistency. You may feel a little tired and want to sleep more as your body goes through withdrawal from giving up unhealthy foods or habits.
What is the best way to change the taste of the shake?
To add variety, or change the flavor to suit your taste, use organic food or flavoring extracts.
Are there exceptions for special events?
If you need to attend an event that would prevent you from being on the program for a meal, try to stick as close to the program as you can. And pay attention to how you feel after reintroducing foods after the event and the next day. If you feel lousy after reintroducing a food or beverage, take note of what you ate, so you can avoid it in the future.
