Desmodium adscendens, a rainforest plant native to South America and West Africa, is the single ingredient in Royal DesmodiumTM. In the Caribbean, the popular name for Desmodium adscendens is “Strong Back.” In Peru, the indigenous people call it “Amor Seco” or “Pega Pega.”

The traditional usage of this herbal is to support the lungs, to cough up phlegm, and relaxing tight, cramped muscles.

      Each serving contains:
      2 milligrams (60 drops) Desmodium adscendens, leaves and stems (1:1 extract). Each milliliter (ml) of this alcohol-free liquid extract contains 1 gram of the extract of dried Desmodium a. leaf in a potent 1:1 extract. A 1:1 strength means that the extract is made from equal amounts of plant material (Desmodium adscendens leaves) and extracting agent (in this case, water), rather than 2 parts extracting material to 1 part plant (2:1) or weaker, like most companies produce.

      Formulated to exclude 

      Wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, soy, dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, and artificial preservatives.

      Instructions

      Take on an empty stomach. 1 serving is 60 drops.

      For Immediate and Urgent Use:

      • Liver – Take 1-2 servings with water as needed, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
      • Lung – Take 2 servings at once. Repeat as needed or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

      Maintenance Dosage (for liver or lung): Take 1 to 2 servings with water up to 3 times a day, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

      Children’s Dose: 20-30 drops in water. (Not for use by children under 2 years of age.)
